Into the Fire

The year is 3030 and climate change has impacted the worlds of Humans and Fairies alike. Orrison is gifted Liferods – Fairie artefacts – by his father. The population is branded using the Liferods, with their birth essence of fire, earth, air or water.

Following his mother’s death, Orrison is determined to create a sunblock that can save the Earth and its people. Destruction follows and those left behind struggle to survive.

A thousand years later, the races have been separated in accordance with their branding of fire, earth, air and water. The Leader of the Fire Clan’s son Orrison is aiming to claim his birthright. The question is, will he be able to fulfil his destiny, or will he succumb to the fire that threatens to consume him?

Orrison is born into a world marked by elemental power. As one of the Fire Clans, and bearer of the Obsidian Stone, his life is shaped by forces he doesn’t yet understand. The stone was meant for protection — but its true power is only beginning to awaken.
